Get up and dance! The first of the Pac-10 rivalry games is here!

You can see the sand slipping through the hourglass.

Next week is Thanksgiving. Then it’s the start of December, then bowl season, then it’s gone.

Don’t let the 2010 season get away without a fight. Hold onto your football!

The third-to-last Pac-10 football TV schedule:

Sat. Nov. 20 (all times Arizona/Mountain)

Road Team Home Team Time TV
Stanford Cal 1:30 p.m. FSN
USC OSU 6 p.m. ABC/

Stanford (9-1 / 6-1) at Cal (5-5 / 3-4)
You can’t talk about a long-time rivalry without mentioning the number of games played. The Big Game has taken place 112 times but nine of them were rugby matches. Cheaters.

Who do Wildcat fans want to win?
Stanford. Cal can still get bowl eligible against Washington, and if the Pac-10 is going to be short on bowl teams it needs those teams to get into great bowls.

USC (7-3 / 4-3) at OSU (4-5 / 3-3)
The Trojans have the exact same record as Arizona but USC is on a two-game winning streak and feeling really good about itself while the Wildcats are reeling. It’s not always how many you win, it’s when you win them.

Who do Wildcat fans want to win?
OSU. Just in case the Beavers want to make a shocking comeback and get into a bowl.

ARIZONA (7-3 / 4-3) – bye
Get healthy and get better in the red zone.

ASU (4-6 / 2-5) – bye
Four losses by four points or fewer. If there was a BCS for moral victories the Sun Devils would be #1.

Oregon (10-0 / 7-0) – bye
Does the 15-point showing against Cal mean Oregon is vulnerable? Or did the Bears’ hideous all-yellow uniforms make the Ducks think they were playing themselves?

WSU (2-9 / 1-7) – bye
When you’ve just posted your second conference win in three years you deserve an extra week to celebrate.

Like the Arizona football team I am taking a bye this weekend. Play nice and we will reconvene on Wednesday to recap the week that was.
